"The experience was super professional, very thorough and quite effective. More than other places I've been. Joanna is amazing, passionate, and shockingly well versed. Though the experience was intense, I have since stopped having abdominal pain and bloating every morning and I will definitely be going back."

Why Clients Across the Midwest Choose Iowa Colonics

Clients routinely travel two to three hours from Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Missouri, and beyond for dependable, practitioner-led care and a consistent, professional experience. Many clients report experiencing less bloating and irregularity, along with improvements in daily digestive comfort and energy, and receive practical guidance for supporting long-term gut health. People choose Iowa Colonics for care they feel confident returning to.

"Joanna’s care is exceptional! I feel fortunate to live just minutes from the Iowa Colonics facility, though I would gladly travel a significant distance to receive the level of expertise and attention she provides.

My experience fully aligns with the many positive reviews shared by others. Each session has consistently left me feeling lighter, more youthful, and with a level of mental clarity that is unmistakable and far beyond subtle.

Thank you, Joanna and Kevin, for offering a service of this caliber, one that is both rare and genuinely impactful."

5-Star Review

“I’ve been doing colonics for over 15 years—a practice I truly believe in because of its many health benefits. I’ve visited many colon hydrotherapists over the years, and Joanna at Iowa Colonics truly knows what she’s doing. This place is hands down the best in the state. I’ve been to other providers in the Des Moines area and often felt no real difference after sessions, but that has never been the case here.

If you’re considering a colonic for the first time, they take the time to thoroughly educate you on the process, best practices, and what to expect. It never feels like a “cash grab”—just genuine care and professionalism.

Highly recommend.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Appointments are reserved exclusively for you and require allocation of practitioner time, preparation resources, and treatment-room availability. By scheduling, booking, or paying for an appointment, package, or service contribution, you acknowledge and agree that this Cancellation and Refund Policy forms part of the service agreement between you and Iowa Colonics.

You may cancel or reschedule an appointment without charge by providing at least twenty-four (24) hours’ advance notice prior to the scheduled appointment time. Cancellations received fewer than twenty-four (24) hours in advance will incur a fee equal to fifty percent (50%) of the scheduled service price. Failure to appear for a scheduled appointment, or arrival more than fifteen (15) minutes past the scheduled start time, constitutes a no-show and will result in a fee equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the scheduled service price with no service rendered.

All completed services are non-refundable. Due to scheduling commitments, practitioner time, preparation costs, and facility overhead, once a service has been performed it is considered fully earned and non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

Pre-paid packages, service contributions, or session credits expire twelve (12) calendar months from the date of purchase unless a longer period is required by applicable law or explicitly stated in writing at the time of purchase. Unused or expired sessions are non-refundable and non-transferable except where required by applicable law.

If Iowa Colonics must cancel an appointment due to practitioner illness, equipment maintenance, safety concerns, facility issues, force majeure events, public health events, or other circumstances beyond reasonable operational control, any pre-paid fee will be applied toward a rescheduled appointment at a mutually agreeable time.

If a client experiences a documented medical emergency that reasonably prevents attendance, Iowa Colonics may, at its sole discretion and consistent with applicable law, allow rescheduling or account credit when supported by reasonable documentation.

By scheduling services, you acknowledge that missed appointments or late cancellations create direct financial and operational losses. You agree not to initiate payment disputes, chargebacks, or payment reversals for fees assessed under this policy where appointment time was reserved in good faith and this policy was disclosed prior to booking, except where required by applicable law or payment network rules.

Refunds issued where required by law or approved at Iowa Colonics’ discretion will be issued using the original method of payment where reasonably practicable.

Nothing in this policy is intended to waive, limit, or override rights required under applicable consumer protection laws.

If any portion of this policy is determined to be unenforceable under applicable law, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Iowa Colonics reserves the right to update or modify this policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated through website updates or written notice where reasonably practicable. Continued use of services after policy updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
